On completion of the Buckinghamshire house, the client commissioned Studio DAR to build a cottage for guests on an adjacent plot.

The design is a continuation of the principles set out in the main house, the exterior executed in the local vernacular style and the interior fitted out with a simple palette of limed oak, corian and glass.
